She makes sure everything runs smoothly – from demand planning to customer delivery 🤝

Today, let's meet Maud Rolinat, Supply Chain manager at Saint Quentin La Motte (SQLM), SGD Pharma’s flagship facility in northern France for Type I molded glass vials.

Her role involves working closely with production teams, customer service, procurement and logistics partners to ensure an efficient and reliable supply chain. The result – impeccable customer satisfaction.

Maud’s career journey within the SGD Pharma group began in Georgia, USA, first as an executive assistant, then as a scheduling manager and packaging buyer. Returning to France, she spent twelve years in the fragrance and cosmetics sector before taking on a bigger role - leading the supply chain for the brand-new pharmaceutical glass production facility at SQLM, which last year celebrated its 10th anniversary.

The move from perfumes to pharmaceuticals was a big shift for Maud, most notably in terms of the extremely high level of customer expectations in terms of quality, traceability, and consistency. Every detail matters because it can have a direct impact on patient safety – which makes the work both very demanding and highly meaningful.

One milestone that Maud is particularly proud of is setting up a structured inventory control process based on cycle counts. Thanks to this process, we maintain a very high level of stock accuracy which is key to making the right decisions and keeping operations running smoothly.

Having strong processes, working closely across teams, and being consistent in execution really makes the difference in the long run.
